Tonight Dan and Chris are joined by John D. Clair and Keith Ferguson to discuss a TON of new Kickstarters including one in particular DEAD RECKONING!
This new Card Crafting game on the high seas is hitting kickstarter TODAY and we examine it top to bottom and give our first hand accounts about playing.

CGE Announced Lost Ruins of Arnak
Lost Ruins of Arnak combines deck-building and worker placement in a game of exploration, resource management, and discovery. In addition to traditional deck-builder effects, cards can also be used to place workers, and new worker actions become available as players explore the island. Some of these actions require resources instead of workers, so building a solid resource base will be essential. You are limited to only one action per turn, so what will benefit you most now and what can you wait to do under the assumption that someone else won’t do it first? Q4 1-4 players 1-2 hours $60

Card Crafting System– 2 ways to craft your cards
1- One Card Levels up every round
2- Slotting in upgrades for your crew you acquire each round
REALLY feels like you are getting more experienced crew over the course of the game.
Each round you set sails then you decide on your actions by the actions on the cards(Crew) you play.
You are exploring and taking over islands (some give benefits), all the while getting closer to different objectives (kinda like scythe style).
After certain number of objectives you trigger end game. Production was also amazing.
Quite possibly my favorite and most thematic of all the card construction games John has put out.
