CGE Announced Lost Ruins of Arnak

Lost Ruins of Arnak combines deck-building and worker placement in a game of exploration, resource management, and discovery. In addition to traditional deck-builder effects, cards can also be used to place workers, and new worker actions become available as players explore the island. Some of these actions require resources instead of workers, so building a solid resource base will be essential. You are limited to only one action per turn, so what will benefit you most now and what can you wait to do under the assumption that someone else won’t do it first? Q4 1-4 players 1-2 hours  $60

Stonemeier Games Announced Pendulum — Which wins out the hype machine or the public distaste for sand timers in games?

FFG announced that in Q4 2020 they will be releasing a 20th anniversary of Knizia’s Lord of the Rings

DEAD RECKONING OVERVIEW AND IMPRESSIONS!

Dead Reckoning — Coming to Kickstarter Tomorrow July 7th from AEG

 50,000 Goal– 24 day campaign

$80 to get a copy

$109 Legendary Pledge INCLUDES

• A copy of Dead Reckoning
• All “Legendary” pledge bonuses
• Saga 1: Deep Legends

Card Crafting System– 2 ways to craft your cards

1- One Card Levels up every round

2- Slotting in upgrades for your crew you acquire each round

REALLY feels like you are getting more experienced crew over the course of the game.

Each round you set sails then you decide on your actions by the actions on the cards(Crew) you play.

You are exploring and taking over islands (some give benefits), all the while getting closer to different objectives (kinda like scythe style).

After certain number of objectives you trigger end game. Production was also amazing.

Quite possibly my favorite and most thematic of all the card construction games John has put out.

Pirate Theme Game Draft!!
