Sleeping Gods 1 + players — Plays great solo, plays in a campaign over a certain amount of “event Cards”
Feels very choose your own adventure story with fights and skills checks.
Crew of 8 plus the Captain Each “round” you do a ship action, an event (from a deck of 18 cards— 6 ok, 6 harder,. 6 difficult)
Then 2 actions— Port (only if symbol at the area), Merchant (only if symbol), Explore, Move Explore read from the book and something happens Get “quest” cards which will give you some things to do and places to go.
Keywords will be referenced by other encounters/Explorations Fate Deck/Ability Cards for checks and combat and abilities.
Book is great, story is great, It’s Just plain FUN.
Easy to save the campaign and come back. And the sheets are great with a map on back for notes.
